Our company
We provide high-quality Frankincense and Myrrh
Bogaad is a family-owned business that has been passed down through three generations, each committed to preserving the art of ethical resins and gum trading. Founded in 1947, when we first established a humble local shop in Muranyo Village, Somalia. As stewards of tradition and the environment, we prioritize responsible harvesting to ensure the long-term survival of these valuable trees. Recognizing the risks of deforestation and over tapping, we actively work with local villagers, educating them on sustainable resin extraction while fostering economic empowerment within their communities.
At Bogaad, we are proud exporters of premium natural resins and gums, sourced ethically from the Boswellia (Frankincense trees) and Commiphora (Myrrh trees) two of nature’s most treasured resin-producing species sourced directly from the Horn of Africa.
Our commitment goes beyond exporting high-quality resins and gum, we strive to preserve natural resources, support local communities, and uphold the ethical trade values that have guided our family for generations. With a heritage of excellence and a vision for sustainability, Bogaad continues to bring the finest gum resins to global markets. Bogaad is dedicated to responsibly sourcing, refining and exporting premium natural resins and gum worldwide.
Through responsible sourcing and fair partnerships, we connect ancient traditions with modern markets, empowering communities while protecting the environment. Our commitment to integrity, heritage, and ecological stewardship drives us to create a future where nature’s gifts are valued and preserved.
